Summary

Pro-Pet LLC, St. Marys, Ohio, has initiated a voluntary recall of a limited number of Dry Dog and Cat Foods for possible Salmonella contamination. Through a single field test they suspect the tainted product was manufactured during a two day period, on a single production line.

Salmonella

Salmonella is a dangerous and harmful bacteria and should be take very seriously, as t may even lead to death. 

Symptoms due to consumption may include:

  • Dog is lethargic
  • decreased appetite
  • abdominal pain
  • diarrhea 
  • bloody diarrhea
  • fever
  • vomiting
