Salmon is a good start by offering protein and essential fatty acids, but keep in mind on this ingredient rank list, it factors in the water content when added, which is roughly about 70% or more water.
Salmon meal is processed salmon parts and bones that are grounded down. It provides protein and Omega-3 fatty acids. As a meal it contains less water than just “Salmon” itself.
Brown rice is good source of fiber and contains more nutrients than white rice. It does contain a high amount of carbohydrates.
Oats are a cereal grain that is high in carbohydrates and a good portion of this is comprised of dietary fiber. It also offers protein too amongst other nutrients.
Peas are a good source of fiber and protein, but note that it does contribute carbohydrates.
