Review Summary:

The nutritional label to indicates a relatively high amount of calcium, while the rest appears to be decent. In the ingredients list, it contains wholesome ingredients of various vegetables and fruits, but do note several of them are too low in the ingredient list to be considered significant in this review. The first ingredient is a good straight up meat source, namely Salmon, and then further down the list there is Smoked Salmon. The minerals are proteinate for ease of body absorption. Overall, this dog food recipe is above average.

    Salmon is a good start, but keep in mind on this ingredient rank list, it factors in the water content, which is roughly about 70% or more water.

    Ocean fish meal is processed fish parts and bones that are grounded down. It provides protein and Omega-3 fatty acids.

    Sweet potatoes contains an abundant amount of vitamin A and Beta Carotene, which are important for the eyes / vision. It is also a good source of fiber and be aware that it does offer carbohydrates, since it is a starchy food type.

    Potatoes is a starchy food, thus it does contributes carbohydrates. Notably it offers a good source of fibre, vitamin C B6, and potassium.  

    Canola oil is low in saturated fat and offers both Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids.  If it matter to you, then please note, it is very likely sourced from genetically modified crops.
