Review Summary:

First, if it matters to you, this recipe is not manufactured in the USA, it is made in Thailand. Next is the moisture content is relatively higher than most other wet food recipes by a bit, indicating you are getting more water per unit of volume. Getting into the details of this recipe, it offers Tuna and Salmon fish meats, which provide good protein. Further down there is Tapioca starch, which is nearly a pure carb ingredient. A better substitute is to use an alternate ingredient with higher nutritional value than just carbs. Overall, with the fish meat protein and a few of veggies, this recipe is above average.

Pros

  • Multiple good fish meat sources
  • Cons

  • Relatively higher in moisture content equates to higher water content per unit volume
  • Not manufactured in the USA
  • Contains added Tapioca starch

    Editor’s Taste Rating

     6.5/10

With the lid off, vegetable chunks and fish meat pieces are clearly seen. For the taste, not much Salmon flavor comes through, it is mainly Tuna flavor that lights up the palate. The liquid part does not carry much flavor, and the same can be said for the vegetable chunks. Overall, the taste is alright but not great nor bad. If you’re dog likes Tuna flavor, then this recipe will satisfy.
