Editor’s Taste Rating
6.5/10
Upon opening the lid, you’ll find lots of light colored meat and light pumpkin pieces floating in fluid. The taste is a mild tuna flavor. Not much chicken flavor or anything else for that matter. Overall, the mild taste is alright.

Pumpkin is a squash that offers a good variety of nutrients and most notably it is an excellent source for vitamin A and beta-carotene. Also, worth mentioning, it provides dietary fiber.
Chicken is a source of protein with all the essential amino acids for dogs, but keep in mind on this ingredient rank list, it factors in the water content, which is roughly about 70% or more water.
Fish offers protein with all the essential amino acids a dog needs, and it provides healthy Omega-3 fatty acids too. Do keep in mind on this ingredient rank list, it factors in the water content when added, which is roughly about 70% or more water.
Tapioca starch (also known as tapioca flour) is high in carbohydrates and calories. Beyond this, it does not offer much nutrients, fiber, or protein. This ingredient is a poor choice for average dog’s diet.
